Criteria to go Solar

Good solar companies should perform an on-site survey to ensure your property meets the requirements to be feasible for solar. At Integral Solar, we make sure you are a suitable candidate for solar panels by having one of our experts look at your roof and conduct a thorough on-site survey.

First of all, you'll want to make sure your roof has sufficient surface space to hold the right number of solar panels for your needs and that the roof pitch and direction will be able to capture enough sunlight exposure. If you're not sure how much sun your roof gets, our professional surveyor will be able to help.

Second, make sure there is plenty of life left on your roof before you have solar panels installed. We do not recommend installing a solar system if your roof needs to be replaced in the next two years as removing solar panels to replace your roof can be expensive. Our surveyor will review the roof's construction and the quality of its materials.

Lastly, our surveyor will also need to verify that a safe, code-compliant electrical system can be installed. We will check your attic, rooftop and electrical panel for electrical clearances, damaged wiring and any electrical upgrades that may be necessary.

Always remember that the on-site solar survey is the most accurate way to determine if you're good to go solar and get all the benefits that come with it!
